Tile, grout and natural stone restoration from Ventura to Montecito
The floor you already have, brought back to the way it was meant to look. Whole-home tile and grout cleaning, marble polishing, travertine restoration and sealing across Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and the Conejo Valley.
Most beautiful floors don't need replacing. They need someone who understands the stone.
Dull marble, pitted travertine, gray grout and blotchy terracotta are almost always surface problems. We clean, repair, hone, polish and seal what's already there, for a fraction of the cost of replacement and none of the demolition.

Floor care for the surfaces that matter most
From a whole home of tile and grout to a single marble entry, every surface gets the method and products it actually needs.

Marble Polishing & Restoration
Etch marks, dull traffic lanes and scratches honed out with diamond abrasives, then refined to the honed, satin or high-polish finish your marble was meant to have.

Travertine Restoration
Open holes filled with color-matched filler, worn lanes honed flat and the whole floor cleaned, refinished and sealed so it reads as one surface again.

Limestone Floor Care
Limestone floor cleaning, honing and sealing that respects a soft, porous stone, removing wear and staining while keeping its quiet matte character.

Saltillo & Terracotta Restoration
Old wax and worn sealer stripped, clay and grout deep cleaned, then resealed to the low-sheen or satin finish that brings back an even, warm color.

Tile & Grout Cleaning
Whole-home tile and grout deep cleaning with professional rotary extraction that lifts out the grime a mop leaves behind, then sealing to keep it cleaner longer.

Grout Color Sealing
A uniform, fresh grout color across the whole floor plus lasting stain resistance, without tearing out a single grout line.

Careful by design
Stone is unforgiving. The wrong cleaner etches marble, the wrong pad scratches it, the wrong sealer turns terracotta shiny and fake. Every project starts with understanding the surface.
Read the surface
We identify the exact stone or tile, its finish and its condition, then explain what it needs and what it doesn't. Not every floor needs every step.
Protect the home
Drop cloths, shoe covers and draping go down before any equipment comes in. Baseboards, rugs and furniture stay clean.
Clean & restore
Professional equipment and surface-safe products do the heavy work evenly, room by room, including the edges and corners.
Seal & walk-through
The right sealer for your surface, a walk-through of the finished work with you, and simple care instructions so the result lasts.
Our make-it-right guarantee
We walk the finished work with you before we leave. If any area isn't right, tell us and we'll come back and make it right at no charge. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every floor.

Obsessive about stone, since 2018
Grout Geek is a military-family business founded in Ventura in 2018. Our family's experience spans tile installation, stone fabrication, tile sales and stone warehousing, so we know how these surfaces are made, installed and meant to age.
Yes, we're the ones with the glasses on the truck. We're the people who can tell French limestone from travertine at a glance, and who'll explain exactly what your floor needs (and what it doesn't) in plain language.

How do estimates work?
Estimates are free. Send a few photos through our estimate form for a fast first answer, and we'll schedule an on-site visit to confirm the stone, the condition and the scope before giving you a written estimate.
Can you give me an estimate from photos?
Often, yes. A wide shot of the room plus a close-up of the problem area lets us identify most surfaces and recommend a plan. For natural stone restoration we usually confirm on site before finalizing.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Ventura and serve Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and the Conejo Valley, including Ojai, Santa Barbara, Montecito, Carpinteria, Camarillo, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Calabasas.
Do I need to move furniture?
Please clear small items and breakables. We can move most standard furniture and protect it as we work. Let us know about pianos, antiques or very heavy pieces ahead of time.
Do I need to be home during the work?
Someone should be there to walk through the plan at the start and the finished work at the end. Many clients, property managers and estate staff give us access in between.
Is restoration really cheaper than replacement?
In most cases, yes. Restoring the floor you already have avoids demolition, new material, installation and weeks of disruption. If restoration isn't the right answer for your floor, we'll tell you.
